The choir, directed by Mrs. Anne Babich, are the talented singers of Ellet high school. The choir sings folk and Renaissance style music. To join the choir, speak with Mrs. Babich after school in room 206.

The Ellet High School concert band is fourth period every day in room 206, directed by Mr. Grom.  The concert band competes with local schools and performs concerts throughout the school year.

The guitar program at Ellet High School is taught by Mr. Grom. Classes are in room 206.

The program is taught at two levels: Guitar I (first semester) and Guitar II (second semester). Students learn about basic chords, progressions, techniques, and how to read music. Students must bring their own acoustic guitar with them to use in class.

The Ellet High School jazz ensemble is a group of talented musicians who appreciate learning about and playing jazz music. 

The jazz band, led by Mr. Grom, emphasizes the theory behind music and improvisation. The ensemble participates in festivals and competitions, and also performs concerts locally.

The Ellet Madrigals, directed by Mrs. Anne Babich, are the elite choir of our high school.

A madrigal choir is a choir that sings both A Capella style and with instrumental accompaniment. It consists of a select few students who meet the requirements: voice talent and the ability to read music. They sing a variety of folk and Renaissance music, as well as songs in different languages. If you have any desires of joining the madrigals, speak with Mrs. Babich after school in room 206 (the band room).

The Ellet High School Marching Orangemen is directed by Mr. Adam Grom.

The Marching Orangemen perform their shows at Ellet football games during halftime and compete in marching band contests throughout the fall season. Members of the marching band must attend band camp during the summer to learn the music and the drills. For more information, visit www.marchingorangemen.com.

The music theory class at Ellet High School is taught by Mr. Grom in the second semester of the year during seventh period in room 206.

Music theory explores and teaches how music is build and written. Students use a textbook along with in-class activities to create their own music.

The Ellet High School string orchestra is directed by Mr. Grom during fifth period in room 206.

The orchestra uses traditional instrumentation to explore major music styles and contemporary music. The group performs at concerts throughout the year.
