The PTSA scholarship application was in December. The Ellet cluster of PTSA awards $5,000 in scholarships to the graduating seniors who will be continuing their education at a university, technical, vocational, or other institute of higher learning.

Unfortunately only 22 Ellet seniors applied for the PTA scholarships this year. Six of these applicants were later disqualified for not following the guidelines. Remember it is very important to review the scholarship applications before submitting them. The selection process will be completed by the end of February and winners will be notified by the beginning of March.

A special "thank you " to the following parents who have helped with popping popcorn on Fridays to help raise money for the senior scholarship program: Tammy Jackson, Sandy Marzano, Angie Swan, Shelly Nance, Brenda Smith, Cathy Isenhart, and our newest volunteer- Patti Harrigan. Without your help, the PTSA Scholarship program at Ellet would not exist.
