Academic Assembly Celebrates Success

November 9th marked the first Academic Assembly of the year. Ellet had 35 4.0+ Honor Roll students, 197 Honor Roll students, and 193 Merit Roll students. These students received awards based on their level of recognition and success.
Teachers made 66 nominations for students based on their Character and Improvement. Students nominated based on their Character were:
Taylor Stiffler, Ashley Ross, Bradley Keen, Clifton Harris, Teonna Sharpey, Justin Rorar, Christian Burkhart, Angel Foxx, Thomas Kline, Catherine Hartley, Kendra Love, Tyler Patterson, Courtney Pool, Destiny Keller, Jesse Lambach, Brittany Zampelli, Sharnisha Baddley, Allan Christopher, Nicole Kovalchin, Ruthanne Hawks, Emily Murray, Brittany Falls, Joseph McCullough, Blake Trexler, Lenard Owen, John Keil, Porsha Butler, Derek Stout, Jaquis Junias, Lizzy Dobbins, Arianne Berts, Brittany Deering, McKenna Rafferty, Brent Gatskie, Cassie Clark, Austin Dunagin, Cody Daniel, and DeAnthonee Simmons.
Students nominated based on their Improvement were: Samuel Osborne, Courtney Collier, Michael Vanone (twice), Deontrey Simmons, Jacob Ivery, Ruth Ann Sayre (twice), Cody Shriver, Leah Campbell, DeVonte Wright, Kendra Dennis, Brandon Boyer, Kaitlyn Staley, Sydney Krembrenk, Mikhayla Callahan, Megan Green, Dedee Christopher, Nicole Fortunato, Michael Moore, Heather Wahl, Keleka Christian, Branden Geiger, Daevon Love, Ashley Wright, Clevon Burch, and Mitchell Miller.
Special thanks go out to the following companies for their donations to help reward these students: Brown Derby, Hamburger Station, McDonald’s, Eastgate Lanes, East of Chicago Pizza, Ritchie’s Sporting Goods, Blizzard Trophies, SC Fastening Systems, and Ellet’s own Animal Management and the Orange Grove. Thank you to the teachers for their donations and help! Our next academic assembly is in February. Donations are still being accepted by Dawn Durbin at Ellet High School.
