Orangemen Bookworm of the Year

Anthony Schulmeister, Orangemen Bookworm of the YearCongratulations to Anthony Shulmeister. He was nominated by students and staff as Ellet High School’s “Orangemen Bookworm of the Year ” for 2013. As a “Be Seen Reader” Anthony was rewarded with the following:

  • Ellet H.S. t-shirt
  • Excellence pen
  • Choice of indie record cd’s
  • First pick to check out the LRC new book titles that just arrived
  • Tour of the Librarian’s back office room with choice of bookmarks
  • Certificate of Acknowledgement

The recognition award came as a result of the school-wide contest to celebrate

the city-wide “This City Reads” 10th Annual program that links to the national Day of Reading Campaign. Over 200 ballots were turned in With students and staff nominating over 70 different students.
